Retain Randy Gordon - State Senate

[update] Senator Gordon was in my precinct today, and I had the pleasure of door belling with him. The King County Council appointed him to the seat Fred Jarrett vacated in his appointment as Deputy King County Executive. Senator Gordon hit the ground running* and is proud of his achievements, and is now excited to face the voters at their door and the ballot box. It was an education watching him win over skeptical and independent voters. There is a surprising understanding of the place for responsible government and even Democrats can give us an earful. It is hard to say who was more impressed between the two of us, in spending over 4 hours in the hills of Bellevue on a near 8o degree July afternoon, but many voters were grateful for the chance to air their concerns and have his ear.

*not that I pun, he was in Olympia the day after his appointment, and focused on getting things done rather than running
